The BCI Global Awards recognise the achievements of resilience and business continuity individuals, teams, and organizations from across the world. This year, at BCI World Hybrid 2024, the prestigious awards were presented in person at a gala dinner held at London’s Leonardo Tower Bridge Hotel and broadcasted online to a global audience.

Each of the following winners won their regional category earlier this year and were selected by a panel of expert judges to be the best global practitioners of 2024. We are delighted to see a diverse range of nationalities represented among the category winners, reflecting the international membership of the BCI.

We would like to take this opportunity to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Honeywell for being shortlisted for the Collaboration in Resilience Award. Due to an oversight on our part, they were not acknowledged during the global awards ceremony.

Many congratulations to the BCI Global Award 2024 winners.

Continuity and Resilience Professional, Public Sector, winner Elizabeth Sartorelli said “It’s amazing to be able to represent and shine a light on some of the great work happening within the New Zealand Government Sector in Continuity and Resilience.” Also, the Collaboration in Resilience winners, Roads and Transport Authority Middle East, highlighted how winning an industry award helps to validate their approach and performance. They said: “Winning this prestigious award validates our proactive approach and continuous improvement in business continuity management”. James Lodge, Continuity and Resilience Professional in the Private Sector winner, noted that recognition in the resilience field is rare and that awards from the BCI celebrate all resilience professionals. He said: Ours is a field that rarely receives the recognition it deserves; when we do our jobs exceptionally well, most people don't notice. This recognition from the Business Continuity Institute, validates not just my contributions, but the collective efforts of everyone who has supported and collaborated with me throughout my journey. It reinforces the importance of our profession's mission to build more resilient organisations and communities.”
