BCI Global Awards 2024 winner spotlight: Isabelle Primeau MBCI

We are pleased to introduce Isabelle Primeau MBCI, winner of the 2024 BCI Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion Champion/Ally.
At BCI World Hybrid 2024’s annual conference Isabelle Primeau was carefully selected by a panel of experienced judges as the overall winner of the Global Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Champion award. This award recognises an individual’s work in leading, sponsoring or championing the progress of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) within the resilience sector.
Isabelle said of the win:
“Winning the DEI Champion global award is profoundly meaningful to us—it’s a reflection of the incredible people who make Premier Continuum and the shared DEI values that drive our work. It acknowledges the challenges we've faced, the resilience we've built, and our ever-deepening commitment to creating an inclusive and empowering environment. Thank you sincerely.”
The judges praised Isabelle’s commitment to DEI, saying:
“Isabelle is a skilled professional with decades of experience, having co-founded a diverse business continuity firm that prioritises gender representation. 50% of their team, 60% of leadership, and 80% of BCI-approved instructors are women. The commitment extends to advising clients on incorporating DEI into crisis management and ensuring their BCM software meets accessibility standards. Their recruitment practices welcome talent from nine countries, making them a highly deserving recipient of this award.”
