BCI Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM)
NOTICE is hereby given that a General Meeting of The BCI Forum Limited will be held online on Friday, 26th July 2024, at 11 AM BST (6 AM EDT | 10 AM CET/SAST | 3 PM GST | 3:30 PM IST | 8 PM AEST). This will be followed at the same place and date by the separate class meetings of each of the Certified Members and Honorary Members, which is required by Companies Act 2006.
The purpose of the meeting is for the members to approve changes that have been made to the Articles of Association of the BCI Forum Limited to update said Articles and to bring them into line with the governance needs of a 21st Century Professional Body.
The Articles for adoption themselves, along with the resolutions will be sent to members no later than 28th June 2024 and voting processes and proxies will be issued at the same time. Access codes to the meeting will also be sent.
In addition to the above resolutions, any member is allowed to submit a resolution of their own to the EGM on 26th July, subject to the following time scales. Any resolution must be submitted to the Executive Director of the BCI no later than Friday, 14th June 2024, at 5 PM BST (12 PM EDT | 6 PM CET/SAST | 8 PM GST | 9:30 PM IST | 2 AM AEST) via email [email protected]. The resolutions will then be issued along with the resolutions referred to above provided that it is legally valid under English law.
