BCI announces new Stakeholder Engagement for Resilience Professionals Training Course

The BCI is pleased to announce its new Stakeholder Engagement for Resilience Professionals Training Course.

This one-day course is aimed at professionals with responsibility for managing or leading cross-organizational programmes including business continuity, operational resilience, or risk management. It’s suitable for global learners and students from all sectors and industries with some prior knowledge of business continuity. This course addresses the challenges of working with internal and external stakeholders in organizational programmes and learners will come away with enhanced knowledge, adaptable strategies and practical examples that can be immediately applied to their own organization. 

Course breakdown

The course is taught by leading industry professionals. Learners will work through instructor led activities based upon:

  • Understanding techniques to manage stakeholder engagement and communication
  • Influencing and working with others including how soft skills and emotional intelligence can be used to work with others to tackle resistance
  • The different leadership styles and the best times to use them for a given situation 
  • Ways to maintain motivation and momentum

Each section rounds up with a facilitating discussion and opportunities for networking and sharing best practice. Learners are encouraged to participate in discussions and share their experiences throughout the sessions.
