Report of the FY2020 1st regular meeting of the BCI Japan Chapter
BCI 日本支部は、2020 年 7 月 3 日に 2020 年度第 1 回目の定例会を Webinar にて開催しました。
（新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大防止の観点から、今年度の定例会は全て webinar のみで開催する予定です。）
BCI Japan Chapter held the first regular meeting of FY 2020 at 3 Jul. on webinar.
(All of the regular meetings in this FY will be held on webinar to avoid spreading infection of COVID-19.)
今回は日本支部事務局の田代から次の 2 つの内容について説明されたあと、質疑応答の時間が設けられました。
The following 2 topics were explained by Kuniyuki Tashiro FBCI, then the time slot for Q&A and discussion was set.
1) BCP に記述されるべき内容（PP5） - Good Practice Guidelines 2018 に基づく解説
What should be contained in business continuity plans? - a lecture based on the Good Practice Guidelines 2018 edition (PP5)
2) 新型コロナウイルス（COVID-19）パンデミックに関する情報共有 - BCI による調査報告書の紹介など
Information sharing about COVID-19 pandemic including introduction of BCI research reports
当日の説明を録画した動画は、このページの最下部にある「A recording of the webinar can be found here」と書いてあるところをクリックすると視聴できます。
当日行われた質疑応答の内容は概ね以下の通りです。なお(Q) は当日行われた質問（Q）、(A) はそれに対する回答、(S) は参加者からの意見です。
After the lecture above, Q&A and discussion was made as followings; [Q] question, [A] answer, and [S] opinion from the attendee.
Q) インシデント対応に必要ないものは BCP に含むべきではないとの事だが、BIA の結果などはどのような名称で記録すべきか？
GPG explains that plans should not contain unnecessary information that is not needed during an incident, but how to record and keep the result of BIA?
A) BIA の記録や文書化の方法は組織によって様々な形がありうるが、何らかの形で記録されていないと、今後の見直しに支障が生じる。経験上は BIA に使った情報やデータ、分析結果などを「BIA 実施報告書」という形でまとめることが多い。いずれにしても BCP を身軽にするために、BCP とは別に文書化することが推奨されている。
There could be various ways to record and document in each organization, but it is common to document as the report of BIA in my experience. It should be separate documents from BCP so that BCP is kept simple.
S) 「welfare」は（スライドでは「福祉」と訳されているが）「福利厚生」と訳すこともできる。
Translation of "welfare" might be "福利厚生" instead of "福祉" on the slide.
A) ご指摘のとおり「福利厚生」という訳もあり得る。GPG には「welfare」の範疇で何を含むべきかが具体的に書かれているので、その内容を踏まえた上で、皆様の組織の中で理解されやすい用語をあてていただくのが良いと思われる。
Yes, it is possible. On the GPG, there are detailed explanation of what should be contained as welfare, so any proper word should be chosen in each organization with understanding what is needed for welfare in the organization.
Q) 特定のインシデントのための計画にはどのようなものが含まれるのか？
What should be included in any incident specific plan?
A) 具体的な内容は対象とするインシデントの種類によって異なるが、インシデントの種類によらず共通で含まれるべきものは、組織体制とコミュニケーションの 2 つである。組織体制には役割や責任・権限の割り当てを含む。コミュニケーションの部分には、組織内でのコミュニケーションだけでなく、危機管理広報と言われるような、ステークホルダーやマスコミなど外部とのコミュニケーションも含まれる。具体的には次回の定例会での説明を予定している。
It would differ on the type of the incident, but response structure and communication are necessary for any types of incident management plan. Response structure contains role and responsibility with authority. Communication is for both internal and external including crisis communication with stakeholders and media. We have a plan to explain incident management plan at the next regular meeting.
Q) BCI ではいつごろまで新型コロナウイルスの流行が継続すると見込まれているか？
How the BCI estimate the COVID-19 pandemic remains for?
A) BCI としてはそのような見込みはアナウンスしていないと思う。もし何かあったら別途ご紹介する。
As far as I know, the BCI have not announced any estimation for that. If there were any information related to that, I will inform you later.
