BCI Corporate Membership T&C’s
Membership Benefits:
The BCI agrees to use all reasonable efforts to provide the Corporate Member with the benefits listed in the BCI Corporate Membership Brochure, corresponding to the level of membership applied for, for a period of 12 months upon receipt of payment from the Corporate Member.
Refunds:
If the BCI is unable to provide the listed benefits to a material extent, it will offer an appropriate pro-rated refund to the affected Corporate Member. The amount of the refund will be at the BCI's sole discretion.
Except as provided above and in Clause 8 (Termination for Misconduct), the BCI will not issue any refunds under any other circumstances. This policy is final and non-negotiable.
Account Manager:
The BCI will assign an Account Manager to the Corporate Member to assist in optimizing the available benefits.
Support and Communication:
The Account Manager will provide adequate assistance on any issues arising from the Corporate Membership and will conduct quarterly calls to ensure the Corporate Member is maximizing their membership benefits.
Corporate Membership Term:
BCI Corporate Membership is valid for a 12-month term and will automatically end unless renewed at the end of this term without notice.
Renewal Process:
The Account Manager will contact the Corporate Member two months prior to the renewal date, providing all necessary information and documentation to process the renewal.
Late and Missed Payments:
If a Corporate Member fails to make a payment by the due date, the BCI reserves the right to charge a late payment fee (£100). The Corporate Member will be notified of any such fee, and membership benefits may be suspended until full payment is received.The BCI reserves the right to lapse any Corporate Member who misses the payment at the renewal date.
Termination for Misconduct:
The BCI may terminate the membership agreement with immediate effect and without compensation or refund if any behavior, conduct, acts, omissions, or statements by the Corporate Member (or its employees or agents) are deemed to bring the BCI or its officers or employees into disrepute or are detrimental to the BCI brand or reputation.
Use and Ownership of BCI Material:
The Corporate Member agrees to use BCI materials and branding in accordance with BCI Guidelines. Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of BCI Corporate Membership, temporarily or permanently, without compensation or refund. The Corporate Member acknowledges that all intellectual property rights in the BCI materials and branding remain the property of the BCI. The Corporate Member is granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the BCI branding strictly in accordance with the BCI Guidelines.
Maximizing Benefits:
The Corporate Member is responsible for making the most of the BCI Corporate Membership benefits to their full potential.
Limitation of Liability:
The BCI shall not be liable for any loss of business, profits, anticipated savings, reputation, goodwill, business interruption, or any other special, indirect, consequential, or incidental loss arising out of or in connection with the BCI Corporate Membership. The BCI's total aggregate liability in respect of all claims arising out of or in connection with the BCI Corporate Membership shall not exceed the annual fees paid by the Member for the membership in the year in which the claim arose. This exclusion of liability does not apply to death or personal injury arising from the BCI’s negligence or the negligence of its employees, agents, or authorized representatives, or in relation to any other matter where liability cannot be legally excluded.
Force Majeure:
The BCI shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these terms and conditions if such failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, terrorism, strikes, or governmental actions.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction:
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
BCI Corporate Sponsorship T&C’s
The BCI agrees to use all reasonable endeavours to make available to the Customer those benefits listed in the BCI Corporate Membership Brochure from time to time which correspond to the level of membership applied for by the Customer, for a period of 12 months on receiving payment from the Customer.
The BCI has the right to change the benefits available to the Customer at its discretion.
Where the BCI is no longer able to provide the benefits as listed in the BCI Corporate Membership Brochure to a material extent, it shall offer an appropriate pro-rated refund to any affected Customer, the amount of which shall be at its entire discretion.
The BCI agrees to make an Account Manager available to Customers to assist in optimising benefits available.
BCI Corporate Sponsorship has a 12-month term and will end, unless renewed, at the end of such term automatically and without notice.
The BCI may terminate the agreement of any Customer with immediate effect and without compensation or refund of any payment where it deems any behaviour, conduct, acts, omissions or statements by or on behalf of the Customer (or its employees or agents) might be interpreted as bringing the BCI or its officers or employees into disrepute or if any behaviour, conduct, acts, omissions or statements is or may in any way be detrimental to the BCI brand or reputation.
The Customer agrees to use BCI material and branding in accordance with BCI Guidelines. Any failure to do so may lead to BCI Corporate Membership being withdrawn temporarily or permanently without compensation or refund of any payment.
The Customer is responsible for making the most of the BCI Corporate Member benefits to their full potential.
The BCI shall not be liable to the Customer for any loss of business, loss of profits, loss of anticipated savings, loss of reputation, loss of goodwill or business interruption or any other special, indirect, consequential or incidental loss arising out of or in connection with the BCI Corporate Sponsorship and the BCI’s entire aggregate liability in respect of all claims arising out of or in connection with the BCI Corporate Sponsorship or its subject-matter shall not exceed the annual fees actually paid by the Customer for such BCI Corporate Sponsorship in the year in which any such claim or claims arose. This exclusion of liability does not apply to death or personal injury arising from the BCI’s negligence or the negligence of its employees, agents or authorised representatives or in relation to any other matter in respect of which liability cannot be legally excluded.
The Customer is not permitted to use BCI Corporate Sponsorship to promote any products or services deemed (at the absolute discretion of The BCI) to be competing with those of The BCI, this includes but is not limited to, Education, Thought Leadership/Research, Content and Events.
