Horizon Scan Report 2024 - Lifting the lid on top ranking threats
To register for this event please log in to your BCI website profile. If you do not have a website profile, please register here.
A fully interactive day we’re we will take a look at the BCI Horizon Scan Report 2024 and in particular, the high ranking threat of cyber-attacks and the resulting potential for lost access to information, sometimes for prolonged periods of time. How would you respond to such an event?
We’ll be asking you to consider how well you are prepared for a cyber-attack and if you have previously experienced an attack, what you learned from the experience. What are your assumptions to information availability, backups and having to adopt manual workarounds? How would you communicate such issues to stakeholders in a way that maintains your credibility and reputation?
Allied to that, we will discuss how we, in the UK, consider worldwide risks/events and the interconnection with our own organisational activities. There will be table discussions where you will be posed questions to consider, all linked to the day’s core topics. Finally, we’ll run an exercise based on a cyber-attack and the resulting impact to your business.
There will be great speakers and thought provoking discussions, throughout the day. We’re excited to announce the event will be held at Somerset Cricket Club, Taunton, where we will be treated to a fantastic view of the grounds as well as lunch and refreshments. Numbers are limited and we expect a high level of interest in this event, so please keep an eye on the BCI website for further details and registration information.
Tea and coffee will be served through the day, with pastries. A sandwich lunch will be provided. Car registration details to be provided at reception to ensure free onsite parking Dietary requirements to be advised upon registration. If demand for tickets is high, delegate numbers per organisation may have to be limited to 2 and a reserve list held.
Due to anticipated demand and costs involved to host the event, we ask if you are no longer able to attend, you let us know as soon as possible, so we may offer your ticket to someone else.
