Business Continuity Officer

Starting Salary £23,893
Stirling or Edinburgh Ref: CEO0013
Fixed Term up to July 2009

You will co-ordinate the preparation of business continuity plans, seeking to secure effective integration of SEPA’s risk management and business continuity management arrangements. This will include the successful integration of these arrangements into the Scottish Civil Contingencies community, liaising with local and regional Emergency Planning responders and the Strategic Co-ordinating Groups.

Ideally educated to degree level or with equivalent experience in Business Continuity Planning, you’ll have a good understanding of the Civil Contingencies Act and BS25999; in addition, your excellent communication skills (both written and oral) will be complemented by a sound knowledge of word-processing, database and spreadsheet packages.

The closing date is 9th July 2008.
