HOW WELL WOULD YOU HANDLE A CRISIS?
What is it? BC24 is the Business Continuity Institute’s online incident simulation game. It is a single scenario game involving a flood, supply chain failure and impending reputational consequences. The game features six roles, which you can play on your own or with colleagues: BCM Manager, Senior Director, HR Director, IT Director, PR Manager, and Procurement Manager. No prior knowledge of Business Continuity is required.
I’m a business continuity manager, how does BC24 help me? BC24 provides a valuable option in any exercising tool-kit. It removes the requirement for investment in the development of an exercise. It is tried and tested, and well-liked based on the testimonials received. With data from some 2,000 teams, BC24 allows informal benchmarking against many other teams, and it can be supported by less experienced Business Continuity professionals.
I’m not a business continuity manager, how does BC24 help me? BC24 will give you a good understanding of the likely questions you will have to deal with during a crisis and the decisions that will need to be made. It also highlights the impact of decisions made in one part of the organisation on other areas and the need to make decisions quickly. It will take 10-15 minutes of your time to play and you will get feedback at the end of the game. At the end of the game you can reflect how your own organization would deal with a similar situation.
