Welcome to the BCI Swiss Regional Forum

A welcome address from Lyndon Bird - Technical Services Director BCI
The BCI is delighted that the Swiss Forum have taken the initiative in developing its own website. We recognise that although the main BCI web-site can provide an overall view of both the Institute and the BCM world, we can never deal with all the specific activities that take place locally. The approach taken by our Swiss Members, and headed by our Area Representative Terry Dawes can act as a model for many other countries to adopt. We look forward to seeing it develop, providing a new and enhanced BCM focus for professionals and practitioners in all parts of Switzerland.

Das BCI freut sich über die Initiative des Schweizer BCI-Forums eine eigene Website zu entwickeln. Während die Haupt-Website des BCI generelle Informationen über das Business Continuity Institut und BCM-Fragestellungen anbietet, kann sie nicht über all die Aktivitäten berichten, die lokal stattfinden.

Die Vorgehensweise, wie sie nun die Schweizer Mitglieder des BCI und Terry Dawes als Leiter dieses Schweizer BCI-Forums gewählt haben kann als Modell für viele andere Länder dienen. Wir freuen uns auf die Entwicklung der Schweizer Website, um derart einen Kernpunkt und eine Hilfestellung für BCM-Spezialisten aus allen Teilen der Schweiz zu bilden.
